Brilliant and poignant essay. You’ve done a masterful job of conveying the grief, trauma, complexity and rawness that lives in the wake of ever-present failed IVF. Like you, I so want our stories to get more than the superficial treatment. It’s one of the reasons I wrote Silent Sorority. Infertility and failed IVF deserve to be contemplated deeply. For only then will society once and for all make space for us and respect the strength it takes to live with our life-altering losses.
